Founded in Fall of 2018 by David Hill, and with the support of enthusiastic beginners Triad Ukulele has become an active social club dedicated to the celebration and promotion of the ukulele in the Piedmont Triad Area. Triad Ukulele's jams are free to remove any barriers to our members, and we encourage all players regardless of experience level to join us.
The mission of Triad Ukulele is to help our members gain further appreciation of the ukulele by playing together at in-person jams. We welcome people from all playing levels to gather and learn about the ukulele: to learn to play, share our own knowledge and skills, and play actively with other members. We continue to work towards building an inclusive ukulele community, giving our members opportunities to network and practice performance skills at open mics, community sings, and informal sharing. Triad Ukulele does not discriminate nor permit discrimination by any member of its community against any individual on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, citizenship or veteran status.
